These facts about Donatello are personal things that don't directly affect canon or change his character as a whole but are part of him as I play/write him:
| ✦ | Heterochromia : Dee's left eye is blue and his right eye is fuchsia, like the lenses in his goggles. |
| ✦ | Fortune and Glory, Kid : Dee is a genius and a world saving hero, yes, but he is also a theater kid right to the core and always has been. He is flamboyant, flashy, a bit arrogant and longs to be the center of attention as often as possible. Not just for the recognition of his genius, but for everything else about him. He suffers from the same affliction for Fame and Glory that made his father become Lou Jitsu. If he had the opportunity, he would absolutely follow in dear Papa's footsteps. |
| ✦ | Gear : Dee is still in his original purple outfit, though with long bandana tails. The long black gloves and stockings along with his black Battle Shell and belt are part of his full Ninpo activation. When he pulls it to the surface enough to do large things that require a lot of energy, his gear changes to reflect it. (Yes, this makes him a magical girl. Enjoy!) |
| ✦ | Tech-bo : While trying to salvage and rebuild SHELLDON after the Shredder destroyed the Lair, Donatello also rebuilt his beloved Tech-bo despite 'not needing it' with his Ninpo abilities. It was a comfort project and he keeps it with him for the same reasons, much like a lucky charm. |
| ✦ | Botany : Plants and gardening are a pet passion. He loves to grow all manner of things and his spaces are as full of greenery as he can safely include alongside his tech. |
